Riding for the Disabled South Australia (RDA SA) provides horse riding and related activities for people with disabilities.
It is affiliated with RDA Australia, and operates 13 accredited centres in regional and metropolitan South Australia, with 420 riders supported by more than 550 registered volunteers. Approximately 92 horses are currently used by RDA SA every week.
All 13 centres are run entirely by volunteers, and its riding programs are dependent upon limited government funding, supplemented heavily by grants, sponsorships and donations.
RDA SA is a registered Charity in South Australia, and has DGR status with the Australian Taxation Office. RDA SA has met standards required by Service Excellence Framework (SEF) and Home and Community Care (HACC).
