Can you imagine losing your sight? This is a reality for many people, and not just the elderly. Everyday the Queensland Eye Institute works with patients from all walks of life to prevent blindness and preserve their sight – all made possible with the funding of the Prevent Blindness Foundation.
The mission of the Foundation is to provide clinical eye care, educate all levels of eye health care providers, conduct research, and find new ways to save sight while stimulating awareness of eye health in the community.
One of the major achievements of The Prevent Blindness Foundation is the establishment and ongoing funding of the Queensland Eye Institute.
It is only through the generous support of the community that the Prevent Blindness Foundation is able to continue their sight-saving work.
