The organisation has been conducting major programs each January since 1929 for young people from a wide range of backgrounds, developing their self-confidence, teamwork and leadership skills.
It also conducts community programs for the Very Special Kids, children with a life threatening illness, and their families; Camp Diversity for young people with a chronic illness or disability; and, SailAway for young newly arrived migrants and refugees.
In addition, a week-long residential leadership development program is run for young adults who in turn conduct a personal development program for Year 10 students.
All programs are conducted by volunteers and enjoy increasing popularity.
