Interplast Australia & New Zealand is a charity that sends teams of fully qualified medical volunteers from Australia & New Zealand to the developing countries in the Asia Pacific region to provide programs of surgical treatment and training.  Our volunteers treat congenital conditions such as cleft lip and palate and acquired conditions such as burns scar contractures.  The training we provide is in the area of plastic & reconstructive surgery, anaesthetic, nursing and allied therapy.

Founded in 1983, over 600 volunteers have trained hundreds of overseas medical personnel (over 70 have received part of their training in Australia), participated in 500 programs to 24 countries, conducted 30,000 consultations and performed over 18,000 life changing operations.
